DREM

Seed pitch · Climate · Distributed Renewable Energy / Heat pumps

The brief

DREM came to us with a content structure already drafted by the team and a thesis on building Europe's heat pump leader. The substance was there, the story arc wasn't yet wired to it, and the slides were carrying more text than any climate investor reads in a first sitting.

Our job was to refine the structure, align it to a narrative a partner could follow end-to-end, and translate dense market and operating detail into something skimmable. The deck is now what they walk into investor rooms with.

The problem

The client-supplied draft had the substance but not the sequence. The wedge sat too deep, category framing competed with the operating model, and most slides were paragraph-heavy in a sector where investors are reading dozens of climate decks a week.

Climate audiences expect signal fast, why now, mechanism, unit economics, and team, surfaced before they have to dig. The first version asked them to dig.

  • Story spine and slide order were out of sync, ask landed before the proof.
  • Text-heavy slides, paragraphs where one diagram or chart would do.
  • Category vs. operating-model framing competing for the same real estate.
  • Brand elements present but not yet pulled into a coherent visual system.

The approach

We rewrote the structure with the team, mapping every slide to a single job in the narrative, and aligned the story to the wedge that actually unlocks investor conviction in distributed renewable energy.

On design, we built a modern visual system using DREM's brand foundation, calibrated to the seriousness of an institutional climate room. Every text-heavy slide was rebuilt as a custom graphic or infographic so the message could be skimmed in seconds.

  • Refined the client-supplied structure and aligned it to the fundraising narrative.
  • Modern visual system on top of DREM's brand, credible for institutional climate rooms.
  • Custom graphics and infographics replacing paragraph-heavy slides.
  • Every slide reduced to one idea, one visual, one takeaway.

The outcome

The deck is now skimmable end-to-end, a partner can read it cold and land on the thesis, the mechanism, and the ask without re-reading a single slide.

DREM is using it as the core artifact across investor conversations, and it holds up the same whether it's presented live or forwarded as a leave-behind.

  • Skimmable deck, every slide carries one idea and one visual.
  • Driving an active raise in the institutional climate room.
  • Reused as the team's primary artifact across investor and partner rooms.
